Staff Software Engineer, Agent Platform

Backend and platform engineering on the systems Replit Agent runs on, building the interfaces between the agent and both internal services and external agentic systems over MCP. The posting asks for eight or more years on backend services and platforms, and frames the work as the layer other teams build agent features on rather than a product surface of its own. It is explicit that the interfaces need to be well-crafted rather than merely functional, since agent behaviour depends on what the tools around it expose.
