Things that already have a better route

Three things are faster through the site than through email, because they arrive attached to the listing they concern:

• Posting a role — use the post form. No account is needed to start, and one is created for you when you confirm your email.
• Reporting a listing — every listing page has a report control. It records which listing and why, which an email cannot do as precisely.
• Stopping alert emails — every alert has an unsubscribe link in its footer that works without a reply from anyone.

Things worth emailing about

• A pay figure on a live listing that is wrong or has changed.
• A sourced listing about your company that you would rather have removed, or would like to claim and manage.
• Getting a listing corrected after it has gone live.
• A tool tag that is missing, duplicated, or wrong.
• Anything about how the board works that this site does not answer.

Corrections

A correction to a published pay figure is the one thing here treated as urgent. This board’s only promise is that the number on a listing is real, so a number that is wrong is a defect in the product rather than a support request. Send the listing link and what it should say.
