Firmware engineering on robotics hardware at a frontier AI lab, and one of the clearest statements of method on this board: the posting lists making heavy use of Codex, Claude Code or similar AI-assisted coding systems to accelerate implementation, prototyping, debugging and iteration among the responsibilities rather than the qualifications. The work itself is the low-level layer — the code running on the machine rather than the models above it.
